We collect and process personal information strictly for legitimate business purposes relating to executive chef consulting, private chef recruitment, client booking management, and invoicing. Personal information processed includes:

• Establishment Recruitment Requests: Company name, contact person details, staffing requirements, and budget offers.
• Chef Applicant Profiles: Full name, contact details, culinary resume/CV (PDF), culinary qualifications, experience, and dish portfolio photographs.

In accordance with Section 11 of POPIA, information is processed only where:

• The data subject (client, chef, or company representative) consents to the processing;
• Processing is necessary to carry out actions for the conclusion or performance of a chef placement contract;
• Processing complies with an obligation imposed by law (including tax and accounting laws); or
• Processing protects a legitimate interest of the data subject or responsible party.

4. Security Safeguards & Data Retention

Under Section 19 of POPIA, we take reasonable, technical, and organizational measures to secure the integrity and confidentiality of personal information in our possession against loss, damage, unauthorized destruction, or unlawful access.

All database connections are encrypted via SSL/TLS, access to administrative systems is strictly controlled, and company recruitment submissions are kept 100% confidential and hidden from public view.

5. Your Rights Under POPIA (Access, Correction & Deletion)

As a data subject under Sections 23 and 24 of POPIA, you have the right to:

• Request confirmation of whether we hold personal information about you;
• Request access to the record or description of personal information held by us;
• Request correction, destruction, or deletion of personal information that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, or out of date;
